About Holly's Practice:

The transition from childhood to adulthood is a complex and confusing time for everyone.  Teens and young adults are often struggling to figure out who they are, how they fit in and wondering where life will take them. This can be complicated by bullying, relationship issues including violence, and even abuse or sexual assault.  No one should have to navigate times like this alone, and that’s why I’m here to offer support.

After graduating with my Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis  I started my career as a bullying and domestic violence prevention educator and therapist in Dallas, TX.   From there I moved home to St. Louis and continued my work doing individual and group therapy with teens who experienced relationship violence, rape and bullying, especially due to their gender identity and sexual orientation.  After taking a short time off to focus on being a mom, I decided to begin my private practice.

Almost every young person I have seen over the years admits that going to see a therapist was scary at first, and often not their idea.  My goal is to make sure everyone who steps foot into my office feels safe and comfortable and leaves feeling relief or hope that they can feel better soon. I am not only a therapist with excellent education and years of experience, but also a genuine person with empathy who wants to see you, hear you, understand you, and ultimately help you.

Certification and Training:
