About Me

If we want people to fully show up, to bring their whole selves including their unarmored, whole hearts—so that we can innovate, solve problems, and serve people—we have to be vigilant about creating a culture in which people feel safe, seen, heard, and respected.

Gateway Wellness Associates, LLC

Owner/Founder

When I started Gateway Wellness Associates, my goal was to create a beautiful and comfortable space where wellness professionals could feel safe to create a practice that sustains them and serves the community of clients that inspire them. I quickly realized that it is not just about the space, but about intentionally building a community of people within that space that support, validate, challenge, listen, share and respect one another.

Gateway Wellness Associates was built on the belief in the gift of diverse perspective. We strive to be a place where wellness professionals of any discipline, race, gender, sexuality, religion, age, level of education or experience can find a home for their practice.

By doing so, we can learn from one another and grow in our understanding of and compassion for others. This is why we offer inclusive networking and educational opportunities, customizable work spaces, and multi-disciplinary consultation meetings.

Practice Growth Mentorship

Because so often when we say we’re unqualified for something, what we’re really saying is that we’re too scared to try it, not that we can’t do it.
— Jen Sincero

I hear so many therapists tell me that they just aren't cut out for private practice (but they wish they were). "I can't handle my own accounting, much less a business'. I can't do it." "Marketing just feels too icky to me. I can't do it." "Starting a private practice takes so much time and know-how and I just don't know how. I can't do it."

Be careful, you! If we said that about everything, we'd never do or learn anything. At one point in your life, you were going potty in a diaper, but you learned to use the toilet eventually (I hope). Good thing you didn't have that "can't-do-attitude" as a toddler!

Just because you don't know how to do something or never have done something, doesn't mean you can't. It just takes 3 steps:

  1. Decide you want it.

  2. Learn about what you don't know

  3. Get support from someone who already went down that road.

I have built a successful practice from the ground up. I have studied what successful practices do and continue to do my own consulting, building my knowledge and skills, and passing them on to others. If you are looking for support in the building or strengthening of your practice, I am here to help!
